How the story came to life

For Heights originated from four freelance rope technicians who worked for the same firm. For Heights originated from four freelance rope technicians who worked for the same firm. On Feb. 6, 2018, those experts in working at heights founded their own rope access solutions firm:
For Heights.

Meanwhile, the firm consists of shareholders Sven Vandepitte, Dennis Augustyniak and Stéphane Kempenaers. In addition to these three rope access experts, the firm also has a large database of colleagues who assist them.

A Never Ending “Adventurous Journey”

Sven Vandepitte and Dennis Augustyniak both spent their youth in a Belgian army camp in Germany where their fathers were stationed. Afterwards, both Sven and Dennis also went to work for Defense and joined the paratroopers. Later Dennis went to work as a chief instructor at a training center for offshore work. As freelancers for altitude work, Sven and Dennis’ paths crossed again and they also met ex-military man Stéphane Kempenaers. Together with a fourth colleague, the freelance rope technicians in secondary employment started the company For Heights in early 2018. Today, Sven, Dennis and Stéphane are still the proud owners of For Heights rope access solutions.

2. Safety

Working in hard-to-reach places is not without risks. This is why we place a high priority on safety and why every rope technician takes regular refresher courses. Some staff members are also instructors for safety courses, so they and their colleagues stay on top of the latest safety rules and regulations.

3. Quality

Each team member at For Heights is skilled in rope engineering and also brings their own set of experience. The team combines knowledge and skills in painting, paint repairs, window cleaning, (dis)assembly, photography …
